A B2B + B2C marketplace where shoppers buy retail and businesses buy at wholesale — from sellers who have been vetted before they can list.
What we are building
OKA234 brings two markets onto one platform. On the storefront, shoppers buy single items at retail prices from independent sellers. Behind the same listing, a registered business can unlock wholesale and enterprise pricing, quantity breaks and bulk quotes — the seller reaches consumers and trade buyers without running two shops.
We are based in Nigeria and serve buyers, sellers and agents across Africa and beyond. Prices are shown in your local currency while the platform accounts internally in USD, so a buyer in Accra, Lagos or London sees a familiar figure.
How the marketplace works
- Retail shoppers browse the storefront, add to cart and check out. No company registration is needed.
- Business buyers register a company, get approved, and then see tier pricing, quantity breaks and can request quotations in bulk.
- Sellers and manufacturers open a storefront, choose a plan, set their own shipping zones and rates, and list products that go live once approved.
- Agents share a referral link, earn commission on the orders they bring in, onboard sellers, and can take on paid on-site QC inspections.
What holds it together
Vetted sellers
Every store is reviewed before its listings go live. Sellers complete identity verification (KYC) and can hold a verified-seller badge once their documents are approved.
Built for business buyers
Wholesale and enterprise accounts unlock tier pricing, quantity breaks and bulk quote requests, with company registration and credit limits managed by the platform.
Buyer protection
Payments are held in escrow until the order completes, and disputes are mediated by our team with the payout paused while a case is open.
An agent network
Independent sales agents earn commission on the orders they refer, onboard sellers into the marketplace, and can order on-site quality-control inspections.
Our agreements
The rules of the marketplace are public. Every buyer, seller and agent accepts the applicable agreement when they create an account, and the details of that acceptance — timestamp, IP address and version — are recorded.
