Thank You Visit: Edo Governor-Elect, Deputy Meet Progressive Governors’ Forum Chairman

Earlier today in Owerri, the Chairman of Progressives Govenors Forum (PGF) and Governor of Imo State, Dr Hope Uzodinma, received the Governor-elect of Edo State; Senator Monday Okpebholo, who was on a “thank you visit.”

The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), established in 2013, is primarily setup by the Governors elected on the platform of APC with the goal of mobilizing all APC state governments to facilitate accelerated human development through undertaking policies and programs to improve quality of life of citizens, eradicate poverty and create jobs in the country.

During the visit, Senator Okpebholo expressed his gratitude to Governor Ozodinma and PGF for their support during his electioneering campaigns.

Additionally, the Edo State Governor-elect siezed the moment to solicit positive support from the Progressives Govenors Forum (PGF) that will fast-track accelerated human and infrastructural development which his prospective administration is ready to engender in Edo State.

In his response, Governor Ozodinma assured Senator Okpebholo of the support of PGF through programs that will improve quality of life of the citizens of Edo, eradicate poverty and create jobs in the State. The PGF Chairman noted that he was convinced that the Edo Governor-elect will bring progressive governance to Edo State.

Senator Okpebholo was accompanied by the Deputy Governor-Elect of Edo State, Rt Hon Dennis Idahosa, the Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District and Leader of APC in Edo State, Comrade, Senator, Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole and the State Chairman of APC in Edo State, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe.
